1. Jack In The Box
2. Busy Little Ant
3. If You Were As Small As Your Thumb
4. Crossness Is Catchy

Side 2:
1. Let's Pretend
2. Hip-Hip-Hip-Po-Pot-A-Mister
3. Little Donkey
4. Sweet Little Lady
5. A Home For Me

JACK IN THE BOX offers yet another collection of delightful songs for little people from the imagination of BETTY MISHEIKER.
With her wholesome, robust songs, Betty has solved, with outstanding success the problem of finding suitable recorded music for young children. There is an educational twist to LET'S PRETEND and A HOME FOR ME... some good advice in CROSSNESS IS CATCHY... humourin THE BUSY LITTLE ANT and HIPPOPOTAMISTER... a world of make-believe in SWEET LITTLE LADY and IF YOU WERE AS SMALL AS YOUR THUMB... while a wicked JACK IN THE BOX gets his just rewards... to mention a few.
The songs are most charmingly and lovingly performed by DORIS BRASCH, who is well-known to both adult and child audiences, and RONNIE WILSON, the popular radio and TV personality. Neither DORIS nor RONNIE are newcomers to the field of singing to children and both know excatly how to bring intimacy, warmth and good fun into their interpretations, enormously increasing their appeal to our young listeners.

1. Tinktinkie Se Troudag
Kant Twee:
1. Willie Wekkertjie

Twee verhaaltjies met liedjies deur Betty Misheiker
Regisseuse - Betty Misheiker

TINKTINKIE SE TROUDAG

- omslag

Tell Me Why? LP .......... MFP 54722 1976 MUSIC FOR PLEASURE
- Two Stories with Songs
- Presented by Doris Brasch, Ronnie Wilson
- For Children under 8
Side 1:
TELL ME WHY?
Instead of asking a lot of questions about everything around her, little Tooty Owl sits on a branch, singing to the moon. When the time comes for Tooty to go out into the world and become 'a Wise Owl' she finds herself unprepared for the task, in spite of papa Owl's big Owl Book. Nevertheless, Tooty manages to answer the questions merely by drawing on the one subject she knows - 'the big, round, golden-yellow moon,' and the manner in whichshe does so leaves young listeners chuckling.
Side 2:
BIFFETTY BANG
Rejected by one workman after another, Biffetty Bang the Toy Hammer is about to give up in despair when a call for help comes from an unexpected source, Mrs. Mouse and her family, who need his services badly in order to safeguard their house against the prowling cat with the wide, green eyes.

BETTY MISHEIKER has filled the South
African children's scene with her songs and stories. A veritable fountain of lilting melodies weave in and out of her delightful stories aimed for the really young listener, who, after a few hearings, becomes wordperfect, singing and talking along with the recording.
"|t is always such a pleasure working with DORIS BRASCH and RONNIE WILSON", says Betty. "DORIS, with her boundless enthusiasim and lovely voice is known and loved throughout the Republic by adult and child audiences alike.
RONNIE WILSON, well-known. radio and personality, brings a great sense of fun to the interpretation of the songs and stories with'his ever-ready guitar and his warm, intimate and versatile voice." - omslag

At a very early age Doris Brasch's voice was already winning excited attention. She matriculated at St. Dominics Academy, Newcastle, and soon after, in 1947, moved to Johannesburg. Her splendid talent was soon recognised, and today she is securely established as one of South Africa's most accomplished singers.
Even in a fleeting glance at her career, Miss Brasch's versatility is striking. She has performed in operas and oratoria and as a "lieder" singer, and her several appearances with the S.A,B.C. Orchestra have been exceptional personal successes. During the Johannesburg Festival in 1956, Miss Brasch was chosen to sing the soprano part in the first performance of Mahler's "Resurrection" with The London Symphony Orchestra under Jascha Horenstein. She has appeared as "Adele" in "The Fledermaus", in the title role in Menotti's "Amelia Goes to the Ball", and sang as accompaniment to Antonio's Spanish Ballet.vetseun
Recently Miss Brasch undertook two very successful tours to Durban and Cape Town. Music critics in both cities were extremely enthusiastic. In Durban she was acclaimed as a "musical sensation". The "Cape Argus" reported: " ...Miss Brasch was warmly applauded, and each item brought fresh proof that she had charm as wellas a fine voice".
The "Cape Times" of the same date describes the exciting impact of her voice: " ...in the final "Waltz Song" ...proving herself an ideal musical comedy heroine, she took her audience by storm".
Her talent, charm and success have made Miss Brasch a much sought-after artiste. Among her engagements, she has been invited to sing in operatic performances which will take place in Bloemfontein at the height of the Union Festival.

Brasch sing met bekoring" o.a.:
